Stora Enso's Group Leadership Team (GLT) has four new members as of 1 September 2014. Kati ter Horst has been appointed Executive Vice President, Head of the Printing and Reading Division. Jari Suominen is now Executive Vice President of the Building and Living Division.

Ulrika Lilja has been appointed Executive Vice President, Global Communications. Terhi Koipijärvi has taken on the role of acting Executive Vice President, Global Responsibility and is an acting member of the GLT.

All the new members have previously been working in leadership positions in Stora Enso.  "During the past two years I have worked with each of them and found them to be extremely competent and team-spirited managers. The fact that all the new GLT members are internal candidates brings continuity and consistency to the changes," says Stora Enso CEO Karl-Henrik Sundström.

The GLT assists the CEO in supervising the Group and Business Divisional performance against agreed targets, portfolio strategy, ensuring the availability and value-creating allocation of Group funds and capital, and statutory, governance, compliance and listing issues and policies.
